Mayen walked to a house and, without even knocking, entered. People didn’t lock their doors in Gimvault, and to do so without a proper reason was seen as an insult. To be afraid of robbers was not acceptable, for it meant others were not trustworthy.
Unlocked doors where not, however, a permission to enter.
This home belonged to Alberich, a new resident who had moved in last year. The man had no wife, nor was interested in having one.
