A green carpet, a green ceiling, and green wainscoting—three confused faces gathered in the green room. A large man with a rectangular face, slightly pockmarked skin, and sharp eyes resembled a warrior. He was Count of Sarika Kerkes, appointed by Gudrun himself to govern Sarika in her stead. A man with a face resembling a bean, with an oval-shaped contour in three dimensions, thick eyebrows, and a round nose, was Degor, the director of the Trade Court. Wrapped in the white robes of the Spirit Church, with a long, thin, pale face made even more anxious by a sickly pallor, was Bishop Leagunt of the Sarika Cathedral. He had also studied at the Emperia Cathedral in the capital of Hybride. Among the clergy of Agnica, having studied at the Spirit Church in Hybride is considered prestigious. The first spirit light of Agnica was given by Hybride—in the technical terminology of the Spirit Church, it was 「Divided」—and because of this, the Agnica Spirit Church still has ties to the Hybride Spirit Church.
