The interrogation……or rather, the interview, had ended by noon.

As the conversation flowed onward, Jig had headed to the dining hall with Sheanne to receive their rations, but they ate at separate tables.

The way she acted so that misunderstandings wouldn't arise struck Jig as remarkably feminine in its thoughtfulness. It was a consideration absent in the other women around Jig, and far from being offended, Jig found it rather commendable. He mused over it, thinking that perhaps consideration wasn't just for the other party, but also for oneself and those around one.
