well for all the supposed reveals, nothing about what happened on that day was actually explained. - why were the old guy and verxina fighting? why did they suddenly stop? it all seemed like just random whims. - why did they need to get our guys involved or kidnapped everyone else alive but tried to kill mc? it started before finding out his special curses and resistances or any chance to use him for their fights... Read more - how did arcane and his party enter, what was their goal? - what is the 40th floor like normally without the special event organized in our party's honor? how do normal adventurers pass it? honestly nothing of this plot makes any sense Show less

Well at least souya character is 500% way more interesting than bunch of other overly kind or overly broken Japanese manga or novel mc. Sorry but my favorite japan version mc still lekan from okami nemuranai

Back again after absent reading for so long. What makes me annoyed with this ln is souya one track minded way of thinking. He won't pursue, record, or solving the mystery inside the dungeon, until he regretted the decision he takes, or he say "where have I heard that before? " The author often left us hanging with bunch of cooking and eating Japanese dish(which I think was a commercial for Japanese tourism), then putting up a new mystery, with connected with a way back early mystery that I've long forgotten. Souya is just like a doting father: " I will give you some extra spending money later" I will miss Evetta even though she didn't get much screentime. Now I am ever more curious about the first hero. Looking forward to when he/she appears. We all know that their hope for a carefree adventure won't hold. The gods are quite bothersome people who like to stair peoples destiny where they like. Just some idle comments. Ever since the vampire arc I've been very observant of mentions related to wishes and dreams. >You become a horn when you have a strong will to live. A fervent wish. Read more >Magic power within the heart is created from strong mental makeups. Strong determination creates strong wishes. >Adventurers who get to the ghost city floor are rather strong adventurers. Strong adventurers have strong motivations to get so far. My current theory is that Gods can manifest after a certain amount of "dreams" are directed towards them. When an adventurer is greatly wounded in the ghost city they direct their wishes towards saving their own life, which is related to the regeneration point. Then, are the Horns a manifestation of a sort of God? Is the dungeon a God? So many questions! Show less
