i don't get what kind of failsafe was there in the abaddon that could be entrusted to the knight and would take him years to finish yet would still guarantee no casualties in the immediate future, and to top it off can not also be used by souya himself or someone else in the event they were forced to kill the knight...if i have to make a guess, it's probably... the author's hand-wavy motions, isn't it?
