Actually Solo my friend, according to a certain wise man, the best rulers are more servant than king, they have all the problems but none of the perks. So if we use that yardstick Souya is a damn good shadow king.

Are these chapters shorter? Also it’s Any new adventurer to reach floor 50 was it becomes the next king . Would that mean souya is in the running for that since everyone has forgotten him making him technically new?

Thanks for unlocking, reading and commenting, FTG AJ!Chapter length varies, but this one is fairly normal, I think.And yeah, Souya is in the running, but because he hasn't reached the 50th floor yet. Also, there's the vague requirement of getting a certain item, so Lanseal isn't actually intending on giving up the throne. It's just a front, as mentioned in the previous chapter.Read more
