There is one part of Lemuria I don't understand. Earlier Lanseal mentioned she knew how cruel he could be (I think there is enough evidence to suggest that like Souya, he was a sociopath or perhaps a psychopath), and this tale from the barman just enhances that ruthlessness. So why, when he banished Souya, did he relent when Lanseal revealed she was pregnant? At that time he still (presumably) had an heir in the form of his older son and his grandchild would be the daughter of a beastkin; with his ruthless personality I can't see why he would change his mind and not banish Souya after all.

Thanks for reading and commenting, Melicans! The thing is, it's easy to think of evil people as psycho/sociopaths but many of them actually aren't. Lemuria is one example of this. He's very ambitious, and isn't concerned about the methods he uses because of his past. But he loves women and has a huge soft spot for them. And Lanseal is so much like her mother, so she gets a lot of leeway from him that her brothers never got.

Jezzz... Souya and his impulsive action. He could have handled it better, but then again i wanted to see how strong stella and master are. Lol...

Thanks for reading and commenting, Ntuzzzmutz! Yeah, he's really quick to jump into action when he thinks the people he cares about are in danger.

I love it tho, he would rather get flung across the plain than look uncool running away

It's not so much running away is uncool. He had just criticized Master for running away, so he simply can't without looking like a huge hypocrite.

Wait... Why did Souya threaten Stella tho? That part kinda flew over my head

Thanks for reading and commenting, OguriKyousuke! She was going to reveal her conjecture that King Lemuria was a slave, which would have threatened Lanseal's rule greatly.
