Ff14 has nothing on this. I swear I heard the refrain of Answers when Souya and Garving had the last showdown. Gracias Solo

Laputa huh... I did not watch it in full and only remember bit here and there, but the giant tree and the ending scene still vividly stuck in my mind and strikes me with a strange kind of sadness, yet still peaceful. A strange sensation, indeed. And so if I interpret his words correctly, then Gunmerrys is basically some sort of a hivemind, controlling all of his dup through a network, sorta like Ultron, maybe? But then there is Rutsuko's Gunmerrys, which is a smaller hivemind forming from one of the original dup, hence the "sub"? And then there is Yukikaze's Gunmerry, a "stray" that is separated from the hivemind, who synced his mind with Rutsuko's after his "death". But since he can't duplicate anymore as he downgraded himself it seems, this time if he dies it would be the end of the road for him. But then again there is an original somewhere out there, indestructible. Man his whole existence is just messed up. Also, "the last stop of the journey for us foreigners" huh. Interesting phrasing... Ah wait, it's not like he can't, but rather he doesn't want to. His individuality is simply high I guess

Thanks for reading and commenting, OguriKyousuke! Yeah, you're mostly right. This part about Gunmerry will become clearer soon-ish. And yeah, such curious phrasing, isn't it? Read more

"The last stop of the journey for us foreigners." Now there's a nugget I find immensely interesting. Foreigners, lead on by the call and dreams of androids, all to the 56th floor. However I can't help but think that for our leading actor whether he likes it or not, the 56th is the end of his adventure.

Thanks for unlocking, reading and commenting, TehSoma5s! Yeah, that's a line with a lot of significance.

Can't seem to get over it when he said 'us' along those lines implying he's also a foreigner

Soyasauce MC is the 4th foreigner. So who were the first 3? i don't think it was the 3 great wizards, since they sound native. Or maybe Wargreas was a foreigner but got a serious case of amnesia like MC did? then i guess the other 2 might be the first prince, or maybe the father of the first prince who turned into a beast. and the other one might be the ancestor of the goblins/dwarves.
