Never mind their utility in "negotiations" or his other affairs in the city, getting rid of the guns before he even knows how useful or needed they would be in the dungeon exploration itself was a dumb move. I can't really keep taking this author seriously if he keeps making blunders like that much more.

Funny, when the "their love for each other" thing was mentioned, the context was such that I assumed "they" referred to Geto and his granddaughter, and that this effect remained even after the orb's destruction, thus the mermaid still not wanting to return and stay human.It referring to the mermaid and her crush instead makes sense, but was not conveyed well at all. Also, going as far as to wipe their memory when broken... isn't that way overboard? And what period of time did it apply for?
