Let me guess the hint of Souya's personality, it's related to the commonly used word in the novel, it's irony... So it is more or less confirmed beside his biological sister, he also forgotten his grandfather but weird though this curse seems omnipotent how the heck can it overwritten the world's record of memories that's just plain Godlike that not even the Gods of this alternate world can probably do. It would cement such description if even the modern world's record is affected. Which comes to question just who/what is Souya's contracted god behind being a forgotten god or well a cat...

I wonder if someone close to Souya will ever notice his memory loss? If It did, I bet it would be Ea as we currently know for sure she knows why Souya came to this world and the fact that he has another sister in the modern world. Like, you know, Souya saying something like "as expectee of my only little sister !" and Ea correcting him or making him notice he forgot his other sister. Then again, knowing Ea's obsession and character, it wouldn't surprise me if she actually kept to herself the fact that he forgot his sister, to not make him want to go back and make him stay in her world... I wouldn't mind some small spoiler that you deem appropriate if you ever wanted to ! ;D

If I remember correctly the spirit possessing Bel called herself Lydrias, Lys for short. What will happen when Maria meets Bel then? That is if Souya takes her back with him to Limuria. He will have alot of explaining to do to Rana and the girls and especially to the King. How he ended up married to the Black Elf. lol.

Why I got the feeling in the end of this LN, souya will become disable because he can't remember anyone or anything even Rana, and what's left of him will be an empty shell that named souya.
