Aw he still remembers and feels for Chelsea. Say what you will about Noel, he feels deep for those he cares about.
Solo11 months ago
Thanks for reading and commenting, Corna! Yeah, no matter how he acts on the outside, he's still a sentimental person inside

How the Hell they build up a railway in secret??? Maybe trains but without track.... maybe busses?!?!? Also about Chelsea... this name is more of a flag than everything else so after learning it I was not surprised. Still I believe you’re reading too much into Noel sentimentalism, I stand more on the side where he carries his grudges long and strong , so for the little lady sis a vendetta long and painful as before was suited, but after toying and get every possible use of the object suits him fairly well... Miss Finezza (as Italian mother tongue I prefer it to the original name, really slandering when referred to people who looks like queers but unsuited for drag Queen who get them self called Mistress) is definitely a member outside the line of his clan, so Mc support and the fact that he doesn’t require his people to face Lorelai (great naming, even if I was expecting an all female group) is understandable, still not getting in the way of the Volcan is a bit of a let down, such an easy target to stall the plan with little dangers involved (dealing with the print as with the prison wardens) requires a little push only Read more

Thanks for reading and commenting, AzaThom32! Noel's not truly a ruthless person need to read between the lines. Many many times the author has hinted at this, and even outright shows it in the manga's side-story, which you should give a read if you haven't. The railway hasn't been built yet. Johann is only doing all the prep work, getting the rails made first etc Read more

As for getting in the way of Volcan, read on. Noel has a much better plan in place. Not everything has to be adversarial.

Damn. They showed that noel has a heart, yes, that's true but they also showed the darkness lurking in its corners.
Solo1 year ago
Thanks for reading and commenting, Banesephy! Yeah, he's changed so much since the start.
Syavoir1 year ago
How dare the author brings back bad memories of Chelsea again! Dammit! At least did proper thing by ending Albert life in the name of her.
Solo1 year ago
Thanks for reading and commenting, Syavoir! Yeah, gotta remind us every now and then that Noel has a heart.
NotNow1 year ago
Am I missing something? Who's Chelsea? This was not the first time Noel brought her up.
Solo1 year ago
Thanks for reading and commenting, NotNow! She's the girl who idolized him from Mintz village
NotNow1 year ago
Pfft, I didn't get her name from the beginning. In my mind she was the little girl.

randozero1 year ago
what happen to chelsea? what i remember is the village chief
Solo1 year ago
Thanks for reading and commenting, randozero! After Noel had taken his money, the village chief couldn't pay his loan installments, so he went to Albert blaming Noel, but Albert had him killed anyway. He later sent his men to kill the rest of the family as well, leaving one of his men to cry over his guilt for killing a kid who was holding on to a bamboo dragonfly that she had gotten from a certain Seeker preciously......
Jecker1 year ago
Thanks for the chapter. By the way, was Chelsea the village girl who wanted to be a seeker and whose father got threatened by Noel?
Solo1 year ago
Thanks for reading and commenting, Jecker! Yup, that's right
Jecker1 year ago
I think the author, with this, made it clear that Noel is not just a ruthless bastard. He is in fact quite a sentimental person however he completely buried his emotions after his grandfather's death
Solo1 year ago
I definitely agree, like what Alma sensed about him in her POV way back in chapter 17, he's hiding his true feelings and putting up a strong front so that he won't be looked down on. But that's a really long time ago, so the author is reminding us of that, I think.

Chelsea-chan, you are not forgotten. ?
Solo2 years ago
Thanks for reading and commenting, Drum! I really love that despite his merciless and evil actions, author shows that it's an act, and he's really sentimental. Chelsea~~ It's really one of those character deaths that leave a bad taste......
