A decent 9mm is only $500. He could buy AT LEAST 3 or 4 for 200k Yen. Its not hard to find them for $350. The ones I own have 9+ rd clips though you can get higher capacity mags if you dont live in a location that restricts them.

the 9mm revolver has 5 shots because it's a revolver. No revolver can have more than 8 shots chambered in anything but .22. Those magazines with more than 8 shots are usually Glock handguns which are semi-automatic magazine-fed firearms with occaisonal standard capacity of 13 rounds
