I think Lou Fan should be interrogated for information then killed. As for elder wen, I want him to be a test subject for some interesting curses. She can show some sincerity for Her new allies and he can be the Trojan horse for the elder councils undoing.

I like plot twists as much as the next person,but not when they try to bend logic to suit that. She obviously could have jumped on Vermilion bird's back and stay in the air whilst they both attack. There was no need for all that fuss. Even if they were indoors,they could simply go outside. But, the author is ignoring this and bending logic just to create some excitement or whatever However, I personally don't find it very exciting when the problem could have been easily solved from the very beginning... The door is barred by the 9 SS members, and Qian prevented her from leaving with his sword attacks. Its also mentioned here that, though VB could go bird form, its not big enough to carry her.
