In truth Siyu might actually be correct that SYX's fate would have been worse if she had been unsealed. She had already lost her intelligence, and that was not by Siyu's doing. The seal kept SYX undercover for more than a decade until the new soul came in. SYX's situation now only became this way due to the new soul's efforts and talents and a bunch of miracles.Though I do admit that he out it too harshly and was unable better explain himself. That could also be the fault of the english translation.

You can’t be criticizing him without actually fully understanding the whole situation because as a rereader, I know the full story and he truly helped her. I don’t know how to explain this without a bit of spoilers so if you want spoiler, go ahead.If he didn’t give her the seal, as a baby that had all the blood of the 8 races, she would have been destroyed because the power in her was too chaotic and would not balance out. About her intelligence, her nerve system was destroyed and he actually had no way to cure her. And the reason why he keeps her with her relatives is because he’s a god (well a demigod now because he lost most of his powers giving her the God seal and doing things that benefitted mankind) and gods are not even specifically supposed to interfere with mankind issues, it’s sorta like an unspoken contract that most overpowering races have because if they side with one side of humanity, that side will definitely be stronger and win so the other will feel like it’s impartial and all that. Lastly, he didn’t avenge her parents’ deaths because well………there’s no death to avenge. So you can’t really be making assumptions without knowing the full story. Well, that’s all for my ranting
