I feel like the Tree of life is contaminated with dark elements, not I wonder if Xui is going to save it by absorbing the dark element. Also, what if the devil lord is in the King Elf's body or in the tree of life. Since it's a tree of life surely it nourishes everything, even the devil race. It would make sense if the devil king is using it to recover but in doing so the stronger he gets, the more it becomes contaminated.

The Tree must’ve been hurt after the war and recently started getting worse. If you kinda think about...if you have to rely on a plant for morality and kindness then what kind of being are you? Elves are simple and pure and calm and kind but it must be bc of that tree, you take that away and there will be a select few who would still carry that temperament. humans are vv horrible and i dislike them myself tbh, but can this make them realize they’ve been too prejudiced? they can’t even bring themselves to be better than humans from the bottom of their heart and that’s kinda sad:/ i admire Elder Yue for keep his mind and heart in the right place.
