Maybe the reason why the Elf King was so upset that Wen Ya was a mixed elf is cause he truly loved her & her being revealed in public meant he couldn't hide it? Would explain why he was light handed when punishing her tribe ??

Someone mentioned that earlier in a post that perhaps there is or was a love triangle. The other thing I am wondering about is whether the king is trying to fix or is the cause of the pollution. Does little Taotie have something to do with it? He bit the tree so maybe he did damage it and is being fed the bad parts to help fix the damage he caused? Since it might be Wen Ya is she helping with getting rid of the poison?So many questions so many chapters to read. ?
