Yep, absolutely. Now that you mention it, SYX and co. aren't generals and they have no military expert in their rank (the only "military expert", Xiu is out of commission rn). Perhaps in these chapters, the author meant that SYX's side has "stronger and more fancy" force, but they haven't learned to use it to the fullest of its strength. It's like a newbie wielding a legendary strong weapon. That's what the author mean by "SYX's side is weaker than the four countries alliance at this time." 🤷♀️😅

They have too many cities to defend..when they are surrounded by their enemies all sides, they can only defend themselves but not the people of their region. The losses are very high. Huh? I thought SYX doesn't care about bad rep. Since she made alliance/agreement with the demons using dark elements, she should have known that her enemies can easily use that as a reason for "crusade" against her. But, she barely "concealed" about it from her enemies. 🤷♀️

"... can't enjoy a novel."Perhaps you meant "can't enjoy THIS (kind of) novel(s)." Have you heard about "suspension bridge of disbelief" and how it's important in a fiction work? Some people doesn't care about it and could accept anything the author wrote even if it's inconsistent. But, some other people need a strong "suspension bridge of disbelief" or at least a consistent/comprehensive narrative to enjoy fiction works.

I totally agree with the translator. They were so full of their forces just a couple of chapters before, now they're making a big fuss when it finally does come down to it. If they strategies a little bit, the 4 countries would be nothing in their hands. Get the demons - all levels - and they become a couple million fighting force. She has the 8 mythological beasts and 1 holy beast who can devour anything (including other beasts and using their power). There are 700 high level magical beasts (I really do doubt the other countries were able to catch this many), n Middle level and so on. There is the artillery. There are the walls that are supposed to be super strong. There are the 5 animals. There are the bows that she's provided for her troops. The potions she can use freely. How can they still worry about this small matter?? Author, do make up your mind.

@Rinneshi But, "black-belly miss" has less loop holes than this one. It maintain its "suspension bridge of disbelief" quite well.😅 At least, I dropped it not because there's too many plot holes, but because there's too many repeated plots/stereotypes that I felt bored (But, I may continue to read it again after I read this one).
