Dragons don't count as a magical beast. They're a different entity and race is my understanding so a magical beast and a dragon can sign with a Dragon Knight but it has to be a dragon knight.

Spirit beast, and real beast. Also, the main thing is that dragon knights require a dragon mount, so I'm pretty sure their dou qi/magic training prepares them for this contract.

Ummmm.... So the six-winged silver dragon could not hurt TaoTao.. Does that mean the demon beasts from the demon beast tide were stronger than this dragon? Cause I remember how it was described that he was so shocked by what went on with VB in that battle that he ignored his surrounding and Yazi had to come over and slap away the beasts hurting him.... Ugh, I'm not even bothering to be confused anymore. The strength simply jumps about however 5he author seems fit. Author is law. Author is logic. Let's leave it at that.

No, they weren't stronger, just too numerous, a million or something. The reason Taotie lost it is because VB was killed by Satan trying to save SYX. As a contracted beast, it was able to sense his death. Also, the dragons rely on their dragon breath, while the beast tide had wild beasts that were using teeth and claws.
