I thought the high undead has distinct aura? Why did no one from that royal family detect it? Can the potion really copy and emit that aura?

Nah, she might will put him under another curse to wreak havoc among undead after he returned. After all, the undead race was her enemy and their nature make them unable to coexist with the god race. Destroying them before the war against the devils will surely rise the probability of winning for her alliance.
