The "discrimination" here isn't only about how the undead will kill any other race which entered their territory and resurrect them. But also, about the other race and SYX's aversion to the undead skill of resurrection. Imagine when an undead befriend and/or having relationship a non-undead race... Their death breath will drive the other person's vitality from their body and inevitably killed him/her. If the undead were skilled enough to suppress his breath, the death breath will be greatly reduced and the other person wouldn't died immediately. But, what will happen in long run? And, what should they do when the undead were too emotionally excited that they indeliberately lost their control? In those cases, if the other person give their consent, resurrected them as undead is plausible choice to avoid/solve their heartache.

Yes totally agree. I’d be a shame if she just ignored that potential.
