I feel that the author darkens her efforts a lot, only mentions the intensity of her training briefly and says that she collapsed several times from fatigue, but she reduces the details so much that the viewer does not really comprehend it, to the extent that some people imagine that she is just lucky!!!

How large is the Howling Abyss Continent that it would take them 5 days? The travel from Africa to the farthest point in Asia will take less than 24 hours in an airplane. Aren't dragons, specially the Dragon God, fast?

Don't compare those desperate men of our world to someone like Xiu. I think that it's frankly impossible to find a man like him

@Swuahi, well naturally since the guys in this world actually have somewhat of a personality, Xiu's whole personality is being, "as cold as an iceberg" and being in love with mc, other than that he is a wet blanket... honestly any of the 5 animals or some other well developed male character would have been a better/more interesting male lead then Xiu. I love the novel, even tho It can be quite frustrating sometimes, but Xiu is just not a good ML

Given that he asked the Dragon God to bring him along to hide his and VB's aura I think he is just here to help her leave easily. And if he were just ruled by passion he would have just come straight over, he clearly missed her but as he can judge her seal breaking progress he stayed away till she was nearly ready to leave. Remember that several times when she has completed the seal unexpected changes occurred and/or she lost consciousness so he wants to be by her side. Judging him by your standard is unfair to him.
