this novel has soo many plotholes that i forgot what plotholes is... after this imma read a near perfection book

Well they fought against those undead creatures. They also had to kill those, I don't know why they can be so relaxed about killing those from the same race, but when it's about life and death battles they have a lot of experience I'd say

Well, did royal academy students not go throufgh the same training. And compared to an academy where students actually die, it is unnatural that the flame squad does not have an reaction. Also at one point she thins of the flame squad as her own “children”, but now she does not care. Again a very unnatural reaction based on her previous actions and thoughts. I think the novel skips a lot things that SY can do without any rhyme or reason. Like concocting undead potions, stealth etc. Read more

I think that since one of them said it smell less than on the training ground... And don't forget that she use a barded whip to train them. I can only guest that she never gone soft on them since undead have incredible regenerative body.
