Why would you need to take down your work if qidian says so? I'm really confused. You guys put in a lot of work to translate so many chapters and to have them storm in and steal everything is too much.

Because Qidian is back by Tencent. And usually when they stop someone from translating a novel, they have bought the rights to translate it from the author of the novel itself.

Isn't it something similar to DCMA? Afaik, when a works was translated by unofficial translator(s), the translator(s) may or may not get the author's permission. Usually, it's called fan(s)'s translation and considered legal if they get the author's permission. Qidian does not only ask the author's permission, but also buy the right to published the translation work from the author. Then, their translators would publish their works in the platforms and get some payment from those coins and rewards.

I don't think Qidian would take it down. They'll just make it stop. The one translating it was Misty, who happened to be translating the Genius Doctor Black Bellied Miss.

Agree.. i also think so.. especially the treatment of Shen Yan xiao to Feng Ling so.. Its make me sure 100% of Feng Ling is a girl..
