Although it's pretty quirky and cute, it's just stupid, I mean common rock paper scissors? this is what you make their holy duel into and probably all dwarf's personality traits? You know the more I read of this story the more I realize that maybe all the other novels I have read aren't that bad and filled with plot holes, I'm honestly amazed that I'm still reading this, I'm not complaining too much about this chapter in general but the story in whole.

I'm really amazed that they're insisting to continue the "sacred duel" while some of their warriors were fighting against outside force (Young Master Xun). Why did they not help Momo Li et al. and postpone the selection of the chief for a while?

As the story goes on, SYX were becoming more like your typical female protagonist. The more I look it on diffirent angles, the more I found that she's taking everything for granted. This is goddamn annoying.That's why I stopped reading this about two years ago. But I still like the plot settings and all thats why i returned and give it a chance again.Its just the more i read it the more i get annoyed to SYX typical female protagonist mentality.Read more

Well, it's what you get for sticking your nose where it doesn't belong. What did their duel have to do with you to begin with? If you got bored, you could have simply walked away and explored the surrounding. Or tend to your body since, you know, now you're small and you should be tripping all over your oversized clothes. Or anything else other than getting involved in something that didn't have anything to do with you.

She WAS dragged up there, but no one forced her to come up the "stage" and throw her "paper" to win their game. She didn't felt curious what would happen if she did that. She deliberately sticking out her little paws just because she's bored and she wanted to end the game a.s.a.p. Ofc, she wouldn't expect they'd let her be their chief just because of it. But, no matter how unexpected it was, it's still the result of her own doing.I know that it's unwise for SYX to wander around the village to relieve her boredom at this moment because she's a guest and an envoy now (although she doesn't seem like a person who cares about trepassing the other's territory/home (and steal something on the way)). But, @CristinaC has some points. If she's so bored, what was so hard to ask Momo Li a place she can use to rest and tidy up/freshen up herself? Wait for the two chief-to-be to "cease fire", then ask to meet them again.
