Lol. Considering protagonist halo/luck, I thought the furball definitely related to the elemental spirit. Either it's a cute form of one of them or a newborn elemental spirits, or... I predicted too many plot that I don't know which one would be the truth. 😅 Either way, the furball is a good connection to "abduct" some young simple (naive) elemental spirits. 😈🤭
