The amount of the metal ores is "almost comparable to the funding provided by the Dwarf King."The king has been doing it several times (if not monthly, yearly, or every other years). But, it never make the alchemist guild escape its poverty. SYX can do it only this once (unless she planned to sell her intermediate level potions or the potion recipes). How will it help the alchemist guild escaping poverty for the long run?

@DeviSF didn't say if it was a year's funding or a months. If a month's funding then your comment may apply but doesn't diminish the good thought she had. If a year's funding then she's just doubled their budget for this year which is pretty special.
