They've already said this auction house is run by the king as a public service, given the nature of the dwarves it's not unreasonable to assume they don't take a cut.

Not sure if the chapters are smaller, but SFA is happening in them, so that's probably why it feels that way.

Hahaha I wasn't aware that we have such scientific terms as SFA until now. Thank you @SpinelesS for this.And I totally agree. There is no development for the characters, just random nothings. The word count could have been used better. There is no need to describe the scene in 1000 words, 999 which are just synonymous with the 1st. We have lots of info, but none of it about anything important. *sighs*
