It's because we should forget the whole few chapters when and after the rulers of four countries returned from Barren Land. You know how it's mentioned that those rulers would only fight against each other and fought against SYX only if there's no stronger common threat a.k.a Satan's invasion. How deep the human fear/trauma has toward the devils invasion and how any human would have aspiration to fight for human race's survival that they would temporary put down their difference. How, among all the rulers, the only idiots were the Elders Council of Seven Kingdoms because they still thought of doing some smalls tricks such as "calling back the talents they've sent to Barren Land after they've done their training" (which was the "only" reason SYX killed them--really, "it's not because she had promised DH to do that since the beginning." 🙄). Or how Long Xuan's emperor had shown how he'd become more wise, acknowledged his fault, thought of abdication through his conversation with Long Yue in their return from Barren Land. After SYX's return from looking for alliance, it's all degenerated to before that meeting again: "They do her bidding (including preparing for war against devils) just because they have good relationship with her (DH and Blizzard Mercenary) or because they're afraid of her (the rest of the human's rulers)."

I hoped she would have done this loooong ago....

What would be better is if Long Yue became emperor instead :D

Even though the Long Xuan empire didn’t prepare, that doesn’t mean it’s the soldiers or citizens fault. Also, revolutions take time you know, and if it happens, it probably means death which equals to less allies. Smh

It is the emperor and his aides fault not common people.
