Actually, the other countries also have little to no other choices. They must send their most talented people to Barren Land for training and in preparation for the upcoming war. After they finished their training, those countries shall not "covet" them to be their force and they shall treat them as Barren Land's force. Without those talented people, those countries should prepared their military force to face the devil army--with just the remained "dregs". All the people who have strength to face the devil army are concentrated in Barren Land. Long Yue needs to hand over his empire so that SYX would be willing to sent her force to defend his country. In that condition, when the war was over, just how many countries would remain? How many countries could still retain their own standing? Sooner or later, their only choice would be to be erased from the map or became vassal(s) for Barren Land (as if they haven't become its vassal yet).
