If the author showed us more of how much involvement SYX had in founding and establishing (at least) the Rising Sun City... Instead of just glossing over it and showed how she ordered the experts (who were brought by the Phantom and whom she found by luck) to do as they please and provide an unlimited wealth for their projects (and steal the Blizzard City's blueprints for artillery)... I definitely can more appreciate people praising her (not her teams) about her ability to build the cities in Barren Land. Tsk tsk tsk. I guess Jiang Pengji (The Empress' Livestream) really ruined all the other FLs' kingdom building skill for me. Now, I expect all the FL to do at least half amount of the efforts JPJ personally done to build her kingdom/empire. 😞 I mean, JPJ wasn't an architect nor she a city planner either. She's a soldier (a member of special force and a general for a few years). She's not a biologist, much less a farming expert. But, she went down to the farm fields, observed and talked to the farming expert while she's helping the farmers doing their job. She then talked to the mechanic expert, went up to the mountain by herself after that, brought the farming expert and mechanic expert to show what she found and asked them if they could realize the water wheeling irrigation system they're talking about. And that's just a small part she's done for the farming (food sustainability) side of her territory. Read more We see how she personally found, dug, befriend, tempted, coaxed or simply dazzled the experts to follow her. When she build the military force, education system, citizen registration system, establishing laws, medicine and medical study, etc. too, she talked to many experts, dig their knowledge, listen to their views, dreams and analysis, gave specific order to the other right expert to help them realizing their research to be practical and useful in her territory. She not only provide the right experts and strong financial for them, she's also personally involved in their research and implementation of it. Ofc, she wasn't by their side all the time because she has to do her other duties as an overlord and all of her companions often lamented how she's always go around all over places. But, she's the best female leader I've ever read in CNs. How wonderful it would be if we can see SYX did half of these to build Rising Sun City. Show less

I would like to think that the implication is that this person's leadership has led to having many terrific and ingenious teams working with and for her and the praise may be of the leadership and pulling people together in a united way that enabled their gifts as humans to flourish. Yet, I know what you mean. Many people tend to attribute so much focus to a leader themselves, and while it is good to have a leader that understands how to unite people and have them let their gifts flourish, we do a disservice in the process to the many minds around that person. (Why it is so easy to fall for demagogues and such...humans always be wanting "kings" ) In a way, the author is being true to reality and how folks would likely respond and think about it. Unfortunate but realistic in that sense.
