I'm still hung up at why the battle in Barren Land is the first battle in this war. I thought Barren Land is surrounded by the four countries border: the Long Xuan's border in the west, Divine Wind Mercenaries Alliance's border in the north, Seven Kingdoms' in the east, and Lan Yue's border in the south; because each country has their own "entrance" to the Barren Land from their own border and they didn't need to pass the other countries' territory to reach Barren Land. That's because I thought the Radiant Continent was fully occupied by the four countries (except for the ancient battlefields). Now, I have to readjust the Radiant Continent's map in my head and put the Barren Land on an area between the God's domain and the four countries. 😑 Either that, or Satan and his army are too "upright" and arrogant (read: stupid). And now, I have to think that this battle at Desert City is a very high paced battle that the alliance army have no time to make any strategy, tactic, nor to rearrange their army formation each time they saw a devil/enemy's demon. 😑 (Yeah, sure.) I just feel pity for those loyal soldiers, especially that young archer, this little female priest, and her little demon. 😞😢
