π I'm relieved that they (Yes, "they" not "he") didn't give in to the devil. Such resolve! Such determination! But, it didn't make their death any less heartbreaking.Anyway, why do the devils still behave as if it's their first time to step inside Barren Land? I'd understand it if Satan and the seven old devil generals weren't among them. But, why would they not tell the new devils about the old map of Barren Land? Why would they also behave as if it's their first time being there. SYX built their cities on the ruined old cities. They should got some clue about it after conquering the last dozens cities. Satan also has once visited Rising Sun City around three years ago. Forget about the other cities, the underground cities, and the magical barrier (I'll make excuse for them: "The higher demons of the past built the underground cities and the arrays for magical barrier after the devils retreated beyond the gate in God's domain. They built it as their stronghold against the alliance army and beast tides in the past tens thousand years they had to survive without the devils' "protection"."). But, why do they behave as if they have no clue about Rising Sun City's location? Is it fun for them to let and see their own army running around in Radiant Continent and Barren Land like headless chickens?

*nods* But, it's also so empathic, respectful, and heartbreaking of him when he (implicitly) asked his wife's consent of doing filicide. And how connected they're to each other that she can understand the unspoken question he asked her. Ofc, it seems to be kind of cruel and unfair that he didn't ask his 7 y.o. daughter's consent about it. But maybe, they all have talked behind the scene about the probability of die in honor for Barren Land and all three of them consented to it. ππ’
