Tsk. The author really made the Devil God extremely stupid here. Unlike in the GDBBM, wherein he lives up to hos title and reputation in a still logical reason.The Devil God here looks like he's being affected by the female protagonist halo.

I think it’s not that his personality changed…I think he just doesn’t care about anything at all here. He wants what he wants. He has nothing left to lose and is a bit self-destructive. If he dies then 🤷🏻♀️ Oh well.

@KeyMonster If he really doesn't care, have nothing to lose, and a bit of self-destructive, why would he be furious? Is it fun for him to pretend to care about his people and furious because they're killed? Because, considering his and the devil generals strength and their size of army, I honestly think it's reasonable for him to still have confident that he can win against the alliance even if he lost those commanders and high-level military officers. I mean, he and his twelve devil generals fought against thousands of gods and hundreds of superior gods in the previous war between gods and devils. Seven of his generals survived while the god race... Well, you know what's happened to them.

@DeviSF The issue is, he’s treating his soldiers like cannon fodder. Being one of the gods of creation, he doesn’t really give a damn about these guys, as long as he gets what he wants. Being a creation God, he’s just abusing his title, thinking that he can make more after this. It’d make sense that he’s smarter in GDBBM, where he’s got nothing but his powers. He creates his own organization from the ground up, with proper warriors and a proper system. Here, he’s behaving like a riot starter; he thinks numbers will overwhelm them like before, not noticing that they’re prepared for a battle of attrition.
