Snape would never have been that gentle with anyone though. Except maybe Harry's mom.

Why are people so obsessed with Harry Potter? Also even if Snape was bullied in the past as adult he shouldn't have taken it out on a child - even more so when that child lost his parents as a baby. I never liked him even after his redemption arc
