i don't understand this part. shouldn't SYX and all her upper powers be monitoring the movements of satan & the 12 generals? so if the demon general made a move, they could also immediately intervene directly. or at least give power over the device to signal? If one of them is in danger, they can immediately get a sign. so nazhi & xiaowe don't need to separate. they just need to buy time until the help arrives. I think this is ridiculous because even demon generals can think of making signals to each other, while humans, who are supposed to be 'more cunning' have no idea about this. I often read stories about war, and whatever the story, humans are always prepared for situations like this, that's why emergency signals are usually always there. This is the first time I've read a war story that didn't prepare an emergency signal. This is totally unreasonable & ridiculous.

Am I the only one annoyed at SYX and co.? I would've thought that one of their trump cards would've been better protected. And the fact that they knew about the demon signal's but didn't have their own is kinda unintuitive. I'll be sad if someone dies now because of thee simple errors :(

The author wouldn't let those "simple errors" harm them too much. At most, it'd only give the plot more dramatic twist and sometimes, it could even bring benefits for them. The protagonist' inner circle have very rarely gotten the consequences of their mistakes. Even when they did, it's just a "light slaps on their hands" or slaps to the readers who expected some kind of consequences. The only things that could harm them are the sudden rapid developments which had nothing to do with their mistakes, would rise dramatic effects, and wouldn't give the protagonist too much trauma/harm (like what's happened to the twin higher demons and Mengmeng. They're not the closer members of SYX's inner circle).So, let's just train our tranquility. 😅
