But, seeing Satan and the devil generals didn't immediately step down to the battlefield, they're separated into their own battle without any way for immediate communication/signal to regroup nor people who watch over the whole battlefield and took central command for their real-time tactics. Xiu was supposedly to be the God of War, but looking at the strategy, tactics, and how the alliance handle the war so far... I can only assume that their knowledge about war wasn't as rich because how "peaceful" their life has been (the previous war between gods and devils was the first war happened in this world).
