Bruh let me point to the Four Nations Agreement, that would've caused political fallout, killing those representatives would've been a terrible idea as although the Lan Yue Dynasty was illegally mining, they could just say they weren't and happened to be patrolling for demons, and the other 2 countries would back them up as they also want to illegally take ores. So all spearheads would point to the MC, and her own country also wouldn't back her and would use this chance to turn on her.
