I think Jiawei can change but that evil sister of his needs to die. From the very beginning she didn’t say anything or any inner monologue. Her hatred for the MC was huge.

Agreed. I always felt Jiawei was just following his dad and sister's example instead of thinking for himself. I think he can be redeemed if he makes the right choices from now on and really takes advantage of this second chance.
