It said the Mythological Beast of the Blizzard Mercenaries was injured in the previous Beast Tide and after reawakening only has the strength of a Rank 9 Magical Beast, nowhere strong enough to fight 2 Higher Demons.

@CarlosX that Mythological Beast doesn't belong to the girl, it belongs to the City Lord Long Fei. It got injured trying to save him.

@Abrar Raza please reread, it was the old city lord Long Fei's dad that had the mythological beast during the beast tide, and this chapter stated it was given to Long Xueyao not Long Fei.
