I genuinely love that their interactions have remained so innocent because they are still physically kids (even though they are already parents lol). However sometimes I get impatient because we've passed 200+ chapters and it makes me feel like I'll have to wait for 700+ chapters or something.I also don't like how major plot points are constantly introduced then just taper off. Atm Marquis Ding'An Household is my greatest frustration.-Concubine Ling. Such a powerful character. Dealt with just like that. & the 3rd brother gets depressed & stays in the hospital but zero reaction from the Gu elders.Read more-the main wife moves out. Zero reaction. They don't even know she is pregnant.-wth really killed the 1st wife?-the 3 brothers better apologize for how they treated Yao Shi and her kids. I don't think all those plotlines have been dropped but they just haven't been dealt with yet. Real life is complex and messy and things get overlooked. People are selfish and focus on their own concerns. This story reflects that really well. Also real life doesn't always tie up loose ends. I didn't take revenge on the flatmate who slandered me for example. However, all these plotlines could be tangled together and if you tug one free the rest might come undone so maybe the unravelling needs to wait till later lest it deprive us of our LJK cuteness, the BL territory Yan-Chang relationship and the slow burn leads relationship. Personally I hope to see Grandaunt and Granduncle develop a relationship (a faint hope I know but it'd be so amusing!)
