Man, I knew the author was trying to yaoi-bait readers with Gu Changqing and Gu Yan. Their interactions are practically shouting BL. Like, just exchange their names with the MC and ML, replace Big Brother with Husband, and it just reads like an angsty love story.

What I find the most entertaining is that THEY don't have any of that vibe between them, but OTHER people seem to see their interactions in that light (up until they learn "they're biological brothers", at least; only the most hardcore fujoshi types would try to bail the dinghy at that point).
