I don’t like that Gu Xiaoshun was adopted so easily (or at all, really). He’s already the forgotten family member in the house and this feels like the author is just trying to dust their hands off of him. Also, yeah Gu Jiao asked him what he wanted to do but like…she doesn’t have any attachment? Just the memory that she spent 20 taels on being able to take him from his parents? It feels…heartless especially compared to how the others are treated. Kind of like he’s not really part of the family….

It's already better for her to take him away for 20 taels. He got to eat 3x a day and snack, go to school and even learn woodcarving which he was good at. When he was at the countryside, all he could do was fight with people and defend his sister! His parents don't want him. At least, now someone can really take care of him and appreciate him. What is there to be sad about that?

Não acredito que seja por aí, ela está preocupada que ele se sinta infeliz por nunca ter podido contar com os pais e isso é apenas para agregar, não separar

Shut up! You don't understand the situation or do you refuse to understand? Xiaoshan was never treated less, he just have less screen time. But he was never neglected in the family story. It's good that the author even find people to give him parental love and you are still complaining. Read more
