I wonder if author has medical background or just did a very good job with looking up medical diseases and treatment before writing. This is one of the rare novels i read where treatments are generally correct. I laughed when i read other novels where after major operations by "miracle drs" that transmigrated, and all they did was put pts on anti fever med..... no mention of antibiotics for infection prevention or anti inflammation meds.

As someone who suffers from severe anxiety, depression and ptsd, I really appreciate how this author portrays the reality of depression.

I also think it's great to see depression being treated properly for once. I also identify with your avatar name. Could it be a common symptom of those of us with depression that we escape reality by reading. Certainly I treat it as a therapy of sorts.
