Re-reading this after watching Pursuit of Jade

i know the schoolmate is just defending the ml but it's unbecoming of his character to act like that when both the ml and mc was staying quiet. Also, saying all of that infront of their house and ml, although ml hates the og soul, what he did was disrespectful
