You couldn't tell by now that she's a two-faced lying fake white lotus who loves to polish up her Proper Virtuous Innocent Sincere Young Lady image at every possible opportunity? Of course she's a hypocrite. She just openly admitted that she DOESN'T want to marry Zhuang Yuheng since he's no longer a prince and is going to the border to live with his exiled family, but she was just putting on a big show of false devotion to deceive her brainless fake father. She knew he'd break her engagement for her, but as long as she pretended that she didn't want to break it, she'd still look "virtuous" instead of being revealed as the arrogant, stuck-up, fair-weather parasite that she really is.
