Everytime I read a novel with 1000+ chapters with great 180° character development turnover, the earilest weakest most vulnerable state of these character ended up being my favorite. It's their most genuine, authentic, and free self. Oh I miss the good old days🥲

I foresee a lot of skimming in the near future. War sequences just aren't very interesting to me. Especially when they keep getting in the way of the slowest-burn romance in freaking history.

I don't think that's a good idea.In this novel I laughed out loud many a time, but the scene with the commoners giving food to the army during the siege in Zhao is the only one that's made me actually cry so far.Besides if you're invested enough to read 800+ chapters why skim?Read more
