It's really bugging me that he didn't become an adventurer too. It makes zero sense. His job is to protect her but he can't join her in certain scenarios now because he's not an adventurer? With his personality, he would hardly care about being an adventurer or not. It'd just be a means to an end to do his job properly. Which is what he seems to be all about.

This novel has a lot more thought and care put behind it then I expected. The adventurers aren't braindead idiots and the classing system is actually really good for adventurer ranks. Plus the general romance for Jig and Shiasha is developing well. Thanks for translating

Also, new adventurers should be tested and asigned ranks, not asigned to rank 9 by default, all this stupid logic that the receptionist is preaching tho Shiasa falls on it's own when she says that probably she could get the bounty. Promote her to a higher rank then! They are literally farming every monster they come across! Jig had to beat the ass of 3 anime girls that are at least rank 2 or 3!

That receptionist should mind her own business, it's clear as day that Shiasa is an adventurer above 7th rank, Jig knows it, the clans that want to recruit her knows it, everyone knows it, so it's kinda cringe seeing the 2 of them getting flustered every time someone from the guild act like a mother scolding a 5 year old child
