Months later, I keep coming back to this chapter and the following ones and marveling at Jiang Baiyan's paradoxically innocent seductiveness. (This may the first time in any work of fiction where a male lead has basically said "I'm going to take off my pants and show you something amazing" and it hasn't been smutty.)
