I would guess not. That happened when all sorts of things came together so I don't think it'll be the same for others.

I thought there will be a scene where ash memory came back to him, instead makina ask him to remembers and the next chapter suddenly ash is souya again. However i am not complaining though. It was still a good progress.

Oh, in case you missed it, she wasn't asking. It was magic. Since Grizunas has power of memories and Makina is the holder of all of Souya's memories(all his info and memoirs) she basically gave him back the memories through magic. Like Ash said, miracles(magic) don't happen without a strong will, and she had it then.

I don't believe anyone would necessary want the name of someone who just fought another variation of them to death to be used to name their ally. And this is gunmerry we're speaking about, so there is probably other reasons behind, or it's just me thinking too much. Either way it doesn't matter til we actually know anyway
