Devils are the originals, part of the 8 major races. They’re the ones that fought with the gods around 10,000 years ago. Demons are the descendants of the devils that were left behind after the war, and are far less vicious. At least that’s how I understand it :/

Yeah, that is how I understand it as well.Demons are Devil's offspring born on the radiance continent during the war and they weren't banished with the devils.

well,actually devils and demons are the same..originally,the race's name is demon race..but then it is changed to devil race(ask sky and raz if you don't understand :P)...so...they are the same i guess

My understanding is that they're 3 different creatures but the devils are more powerful and can lead and control the demons and demon beasts. In the war, the devils were able yo use the demons and demon beasts to fight against the other side.
